Q&A About Our Test
Q: What brand rapid test do you use?
A: We are currently using the RightSign test, which is the highest performed test approved by the FDA. Please see FDA link here for more details.
Q: Does insurance cover the cost of the test?
A: Most insurance covers the cost of the COVID test if it's medically necessary. In that case, please schedule a visit with one of our providers.
The cost of the test for self-pay patients is $74.99.
Q: Could your rapid COVID-19 test detect a current infection?
A: We use the highest performed test approved by the FDA. Our IgM and IgG testing does in fact identify a current infection (the IgM part) as soon as day 3. This test is more accurate in identifying current infections in asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic patients who will show up as a negative in a swab test.
